2022 ISFA Industry Roundtable: Kent, Washington

ISFA held a fun-size Industry Roundtable on June 8 in Kent, Washington. Hosted at FLOFORM Countertops, this event was a powerful opportunity for fabricators to come together to network and discuss fabrication techniques and business practice strategies around porcelain, sintered and ultra-compact surfaces.

The Roundtable event included a facility tour of FLOFORM Countertops, a state-of-the-art fabrication facility.

"This event at FLOFORM was a great experience,” said Steve Mast, director of Precision Countertops and ISFA past president. “It was nice to hang out with other fabricators and share ideas about some common problems we face. The FLOFORM team was there to answer questions and explain all the details of the production process. I would highly recommend fabricators attend ISFA’s roundtable events."

Roundtable discussions focused on how the porcelain category fits into a fabricator’s business and how this surface category could help with labor challenges, material shortages and inflation.

A special thanks to event sponsors MSI Surfaces and Park Industries.

Additional Industry Roundtable events are scheduled throughout the year. Sponsored by Cambria and Moraware, the third Roundtable will take place August 22-24 in Seattle. Attendees will tour state-of-the-art installation vehicles, discuss software and technology integrations, and explore KPI Dashboards during educational sessions. Opportunities for networking and leisure time at America’s Car Museum are built into the agenda as well.

ISFA members are encouraged to take advantage of these robust business development opportunities.
